Originally from Portland and now based in LA, Yung Bae has spent the last decade turning dusty disco, boogie and funk records into some of the most ridiculously fun dance music around. One of the artists who helped put future funk on the map, his sound pulls from city pop, French touch, soul and classic disco, chopped up and flipped into something faster, funkier and unmistakably Bae.

What started in the corners of SoundCloud and Bandcamp has grown way beyond the scene, but the reason people love Yung Bae hasn't really changed. The music just feels good. Huge basslines, ridiculous grooves, samples you swear you've heard somewhere before, and the kind of sets where standing still isn't really an option.
