Yoi Toki: A Future Funk/Vaporwave Party

Orlove by Night

Presents:

YOI TOKI: A FUTURE FUNK PARTY

FT. SAINT PEPSI (aka SKYLAR SPENCE)

Yoi Toki (A Future Funk/Vaporwave Party) returns to Chicago with one of its most hyped nights yet! We’re bringing the one and only…one of the architects of the Future Funk sound, the one and only:

Saint Pepsi aka Skylar Spence

+ DJs: Fujifire + Z-KO (mixing the best tracks in Future Funk).

If you don't want to miss the dancing and good times, grab your tickets and get ready to party!

A party for fans of Macross 82-99, Vantage, Desired, Yung Bae, Moe Shop, Engelwood, Starjunk95, Night Tempo, Melonade, Mikazuki BIGWAVE, City Pop, Funk, Disco, French House and all things anime/cosplay.

Yoi Toki is all about celebrating the sounds of Future Funk, a genre that blends retro anime aesthetics, the grooves of 70s Disco, Funk and Japanese City Pop, with modern electronic music production techniques. Emerging around the 2010s, this sound is designed for the dancefloor - a mix of past and present, creating a unique feel-good, upbeat, and energetic experience.

Pick your funkiest outfit, bring your friends, and dance all night.
