Trouble The Water is Des Moines, Iowa artist Blake Schneider, a singer/songwriter whose lyric-first compositions and direct arrangements are the product of his midwestern influences and origins. Folk, roots, Americana. Plaintive, sincere, unrepentant all apply. Trouble The Water draws inspiration from the intimate, mundane, and absurd moments of daily life.
