NPR Music has described the group as being, “...taut with electricity…a band that has become a rousing celebration of traditional Gospel sounds with rock foundations.” Pop Matters has said that the band’s music is “...more than just an organic, back-to-basics approach to Southern-tinged gospel rock…an eclecticism that offers plenty of surprises and a variety that’s refreshing." Relix Magazine calls the group, “...a full-fledged performing and recording force.” 

The Eagle Rock Gospel Singers have appeared at prestigious festivals such as the Winnipeg Folk Fest, the Montreal Jazz Fest, the Austin City Limits Festival, the Voodoo Fest of New Orleans, the High Sierra Music Festival, and many others. The band has played shows on bills with Phoebe Bridgers, The Record Company, Ivan and Alyosha, Madison Cunningham, The Wild Reeds, Wille Watson (of Old Crow Medicine Show), Jamie Drake, Sean Watkins, Sam Outlaw, The Dustbowl Revival, Marco Benevento and many others. The vast majority of the band’s music has been produced by Matt Wignall (The Cold War Kids, J. Roddy Walston, Deep Sea Diver, Jessie Baylin). A significant amount of the sound engineering for the band’s records has been done by Anthony Arvizu (Chicano Batman, Ryan Bingham, Marc Ford).

Their work has also garnered high-profile song placements on networks such as MTV, ESPN, Netflix, Showtime, Amazon, SYFY, Discovery Channel, and USA. They are featured on popular official Spotify editor playlists, “Southern Gothic” and “Southern Crosses.” They are finishing their fourth full length album and aim to release it soon.

With her soulful, indie twang sound, independent artist Ali Angel is carving a distinct niche for herself in the Los Angeles live music scene. Her songwriting echoes classic influences like Sheryl Crow, yet her voice and presence are unmistakably her own. Angel’s debut 2026 album, “Is This Really Happening?” combines her warm vintage vibe with a modern indie touch, evoking nostalgia for a 70’s meets 90’s sound paired with optimistic lyricism. Deemed one of 88.5 The SoCal Sound’s “favorite songwriters”, Angel has received consistent radio support, with her debut album charting in the top 50 of the Americana radio album and singles charts for well over a month. Angel has also been featured in various editorial playlists including Spotify’s, “The New Retro”, “Emerging Americana”, “Fresh Finds”, Tidal’s, “Country and Folk Rising” and more. Self-written and produced by Ryan Pollie, Tyler Ballgame and Angel, the album explores themes of kismet, emotional honesty, duality, spiritual connection and two people growing in tandem set against the backdrop of her hometown Los Angeles.
