TERGI TO HUDSON 2026 | JAZZ FESTIVAL
Tergi to Hudson returns to New York for its second edition, bringing together musicians from Tbilisi, New York, Miami, and beyond for an evening of contemporary jazz, improvisation, funk, and Georgian musical tradition.
The festival presents three distinct live sets at The Cutting Room.
CONNOR ROHRER TRIO
Grammy Award-winning pianist Connor Rohrer opens the festival with longtime collaborators Mike Ramos on bass and Lukas Apostoleris on drums.
Coming from Miami, the trio will perform original compositions alongside their own arrangements of jazz standards, Broadway repertoire, and contemporary songs.
Connor Rohrer – Piano
Mike Ramos – Bass
Lukas Apostoleris – Drums
TM STREET BAND
Brooklyn-based TM Street Band, founded by Grammy-nominated multi-instrumentalist and composer Tal Mashiach, takes the second set.
Since 2016, the band has developed a distinctive sound around an unusual frontline of harmonica, trombone, and alto saxophone, drawing from jazz, funk, blues, Latin music, and Middle Eastern traditions.
Tal Mashiach – Bass
Yotam Ben Or – Harmonica
Khondzi – Saxophone
Yonathan Peled – Trombone
David Jimenez – Drums
FUNKH
Closing the night is FUNKH, a project by Brooklyn-based Georgian saxophonist, composer, and producer Khondzi.
FUNKH brings modern jazz and funk into conversation with Georgian folk music and traditional trance rhythms - not as a fusion exercise, but as a sound of its own.
Khondzi's work has appeared on stages including NYC Winter Jazzfest, Birdland, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Nublu, DROM, and Black Sea Jazz Festival.
Khondzi – Saxophone
Papuna Sharikadze – Piano
Luka Topuria – Piano
Tal Mashiach – Bass
Alon Benjamini – Drums
Roy Ban Bashat – Guitar
Three sets. One night.
