Supertask is an electronic music producer based out of Oregon. An injury at an early age forced him to create music with a unique and distinct approach. Mr. Bill, born Bill Day, is an Australian electronic music producer, DJ, sound designer, and educator known for his boundary-pushing approach to glitch, IDM, bass music, and experimental electronic music. Based in the USA, he has built an international reputation for intricate sound design, unpredictable rhythms, heavy bass, and highly technical live performances.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Bill has collaborated with artists including deadmau5, Infected Mushroom, Ganja White Night, Subtronics, Dirt Monkey, Virtual Riot, and many others. His music has appeared on influential labels including mau5trap, Monstercat, Subcarbon, Deadbeats, Cyclops, and WAKAAN. He has also performed at major venues and festivals around the world, including Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
Beyond performing, Mr. Bill is widely recognized for his deep knowledge of music production and Ableton Live. Through his educational platform, tutorials, sample packs, project files, and podcast, he has helped countless producers develop their own sound. He also scored the Nicolas Cage horror-comedy Mom and Dad, further showcasing his versatility as a composer and sound designer.
