Flamingosis is the stage name of Aaron Velasquez, a New Jersey-based producer known for blending funk, soul, jazz, hip-hop, disco, and electronic music into a vibrant, sample-driven sound. Inspired by classic crate-digging culture and named after a freestyle Frisbee move popularized by his father, a former world champion player, Flamingosis has built a devoted following through a steady stream of independent releases and energetic live performances.

His music combines nostalgic grooves, chopped vocal samples, smooth basslines, and laid-back beats, drawing influence from artists such as J Dilla, Flying Lotus, and Madlib. Albums such as Pleasures, Bright Moments, and Daymaker showcase his signature blend of feel-good funk, lo-fi hip-hop, and danceable electronic production.
