BLACK AND LOUD FEST PORTLAND 2026
Sponsored by Jack Daniel's
featuring Iniko, King Youngblood, Cyril Neville featuring Omari Neville & The Fuel, Making Movies, Down North
Sunday August 30, 2026 – one incredible packed stage at The Den featuring live music, great Jack Daniel’s cocktails, with co-headliners INIKO & KING YOUNGBLOOD. Black and Loud Fest Portland 2026 has really outdone itself this year. Co-headlining the lineup is the incredibly talented Iniko who wowed audiences in 2025 in Seattle and Portland with their unique blend of alternative R&B soul, Afro-Punk and Iniko's own signature vocals. Iniko’s breakthrough came with the release of "The King’s Affirmation," released in 2021, which gained viral attention. They arrived on Billboard’s charts, as their song "Jericho" debuted at No. 11 on R&B Digital Song Sales. Cameron Lavi-Jones the co-founder of Black and Loud Festival - going strong since 2022, brings the heat with his band King Youngblood who will be sharing new songs never heard before at this year’s fest. Other artists include NYC based Singer Songwriter Peter Collins and Spanish singing fusion band Making Movies. Plus the Uptown Ruler himself Cyril Neville with Omari Neville and the Fuel. Co-Founder Anthony Briscoe returns with his band Down North promising new songs.
Categorically, through the entire history of music and American culture, Black folks have not received proper love or credit, and if they do it is not until decades after their passing. From Sister Rosetta Tharpe to Seattle's Tina Bell to the contemporary pioneers Fishbone, in the PNW, Black-fronted bands have been in need of the proper support and recognition of the impact they've made on music history. After a music festival where they were the only Black bands on the bill, King Youngblood's Cameron Lavi-Jones and Down North's Anthony Briscoe aligned to do something about this issue and assembled an incredible team of pros to create Black and Loud Fest. Backed with the support of title sponsor Jack Daniel's, this festival was born from the DIY spirit to give folks the chance to prevent history from repeating itself. Black and Loud Fest aims to celebrate these bands with folks from all walks of life by sharing experiences and insights about these issues, giving the talented and underrepresented community of alternative Black artists their flowers, and throwing one of the most kick-ass music festivals in the Pacific Northwest. Our goal is to honor the broad spectrum of Black creativity, showcasing how integral these contributions have been to defining American music and culture at large. And guess what?
