Q: Is this show outdoors?
A: Yes. This event is held in HopMonk Novato's outdoor concert venue.

Q: Are kids allowed?
A: The shows are all ages. Kids need a ticket to attend. No babies in arms.

Q: Is there seating?
A: Seating is limited and is first come. You're allowed a LOW-BACK chair in the lawn section. At the top of the hillside section there is table seating that is first come. We recommend arriving at the time doors open. Some shows are open dance floor/standing room only while others are mostly seated. Varies from show to show.

Q: Is there parking?
A: Parking is free and there is plenty of it.

Bill Kirchen with The Lost Planet Airmen

As a founding member of Commander Cody & His Lost Planet Airmen, Kirchen first brought the band to the Bay Area in December 1969. Now Bill brings the Airmen back to town to celebrate the release of their new 50 year reunion album, Back From The Ozone. Four original Airmen - Kirchen, Bruce Barlow, Andy Stein and John Tichy, plus Austin de Lone, Peter Siegel and Paul Revelli went into the studio last year recorded a disc of half new originals and half Cody classics. All seven hit the stage this June 28 at the Hopmonk in Novato.

Grammy nominated artist and co-founder of the seminal Americana and Roots R 'n' R band Commander Cody, Bill Kirchen offers a very rare combination of guitar virtuosity, a mastery of roots rock 'n' roll, and an easy connection with his audience. His guitar drove the Commander Cody classic Hot Rod Lincoln into the Top Ten, and spawned a career that has spanned over 50 years. He has released 12 CDs on his own, and recorded and/or played guitar live with a who's who of Americana and Roots Rock 'N' Roll, among them Gene Vincent, Link Wray, Bo Diddley, Hazel Dickens, Doug Sahm, Hoyt Axton, Emmylou Harris, Maria Muldaur, Dan Hicks, Nick Lowe and Elvis Costello.
