Open Mic From Hell is a hybrid stand up comedy show and bizarre performance art that exists on the fringes of comedy shows, legions away from traditional open mics. Comedians sign-up to perform, are randomly called on stage, and presented with a challenge to be incorporated into their set: Do your set as a TED Talk presentation. Do your set with a designated heckler in the audience. Do your set outside on the street where you can't hear the audience reaction. Challenges rotate weekly.

Chris Trew has been featured on 100+ comedy, music, and film festivals across North America.

 He’s been on more than 20 comedy tours with various projects, most notably as the host for the wildly popular Air Sex World Championships. He’s won “best New Orleans comedian” multiple times and been featured on the cover of both The Austin Chronicle and The New Orleans Gambit for his work spearheading the local comedy scenes.

He’s done comedy with WWE superstars and NBA players and been featured on MTV and America’s Got Talent. He’s written 3 books, created over 50 original comedy show formats, and produced over 10,000 comedy shows. Thousands of people have taken his improv classes.
