Dust off your armor, sharpen your wit, and prepare for a journey back in time. The annual Age of Chivalry Renaissance Festival is officially returning to Sunset Park, Friday through Sunday, October 9–11, transforming the desert landscape into a 16th-century English village. For three magical days, the festival will bring history, fantasy, and adventure to life with immersive entertainment, authentic historical reenactments, and fun for all ages.
The thundering excitement of full-contact jousting tournaments takes center stage as brave knights clash for honor and glory. Beyond the arena, test your luck with the Pirate games in Pirate’s Port, enjoy multiple stages featuring a spectacular nonstop lineup of belly dancers, magicians, comedians, a live bird show by The Birdman, and Celtic rock bands. Visitors can also explore living history guild encampments where passionate reenactors demonstrate ancient crafts like blacksmithing and archery, offering a true window into the daily life of the Renaissance era.
The experience continues through a sprawling artisan marketplace featuring over a hundred master artisans selling handmade period wares, including custom leatherwork, forged iron, exquisite jewelry, and authentic costuming. To complete the journey, fairgoers can feast like royalty on traditional Renaissance fare, from giant roasted turkey legs and hearty meat pies to refreshing English ales, mead and mocktails.
This year brings a brand-new lineup of activities, featuring live DND games designed specifically for fairgoers to jump in and play. In addition to the tabletop action, an unforgettable adventure with a new Guided Pub Crawl has been added! This moderate walking tour carries participants from the East side to the West side of the lake at Sunset Park, revealing hidden corners, spontaneous moments, and the true charm of the realm. Along the way, join a lively, knowledgeable guide while journeying through three distinct taverns—each offering one free tasting crafted just for travelers of the Guided Pub Crawl—while mingling with whimsical villagers and colorful characters who bring the story of the Fair to life. Though seating may be limited, the experience is overflowing with fun, flavor, and discovery, making it perfect for explorers, storytellers, and anyone looking to toast to a memorable day—truly a journey you won’t want to miss!

Parking at Sunset Park is very limited. We encourage guests to take advantage of FREE overflow parking locations with FREE shuttle service to and from the festival during the following hours:
- Friday: 10:00 AM – 11:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM – 11:00 PM
- Sunday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Rideshare services are highly encouraged if overflow parking is not your preference.
